Original period manufacture. Enameled brass insignia with a pinback reverse, NS Meyers mfg. Raised in 1924 at Fort Mills, Corregidor Island Philippines, it's troops consisting primarily of local Philippine men, formed part of the defense of the island during the Japanese invasion in 1942. The regiment was disbanded in 1950.
