Original era manufacture. A Bowie style blade measuring 6.25 inches in length, with a sharp cutting edge. I believe the blade, guard and tang are made from one piece of steel and rather heavy.Stout, stacked leather grip with alternating thin bands of brass and a brass pommel cap. Heavy duty leather sheath in sound condition, with a long leather leg tie. This is one sturdy knife.
