Original era manufacture. M1917 pattern blade with a parkerized finish, fitted to a black hard plastic grip secured with three brass rivets and washers.WWI OD painted ribbed steel scabbard with a leather attaching loop and M1910 belt hook. Normal age and wear, displaying light use.I could not find a reference to this piece in Cole's book IV, the knife was included in a large edge weapon collection we purchased some years back.
