Original period manufacture. Dark blue wool removable top with a gold brocade chinstrap and removable brass and silver alloy eagle. The leather sweatband is sewn securely to the cap body, Bancroft marked sweatshield mounted to the interior of the hat. No moth issues, just normal age and wear. Unmarked size but approximately 6 5/8 to 6 1/2
