US WWII Era Navy Officers Blue Wool Topped Visor Hat

Original era manufacture. Removable blue wool topped officers hat, with a bound black plastic covered visor, and metal cap device attached to the cap band. I did not remove the badge to check to see if it is sterling marked. The hat displays honest age and wear but no damage, it is not crushed or broken, and there is no moth damage to the wool. Some of the sweatband stitching has come loose. Knox manufacture. Size about 7, 7 1/4.
