Original era manufacture. US WWII Maritime Commission Clock manufactured by Seth Thomas. Black bakelite case with a natural metal color face, serial number 30305, case measures 7.5 inches in diameter. Normal age and wear, paint remnants on the base edge from hanging on the bulkhead of a ship, no chips in the bakelite. No key, when I was handling the clock to write a description I saw the second hand move, so perhaps only a cleaning and key and this old clock will tell us the time again.
