Original era manufacture. US WWII Mark I Navy Deck Clock manufactured by Seth Thomas. Black bakelite case with a dark metal color face with white numerals and hands, serial number 39530, case measures 7.5 inches in diameter. There is a screw lock on one side of the case, when undone it allows the body of the clock to move forward on a pin pivot, which reveals an original key hanging from the mounting plate, and allowing access to the rods for setting and winding. I wound the clock prior to typing this, the result being the second hand moves freely and the minute hand has kept time over the past 6 minutes. How long that happy process will continue I have no idea, but hope springs eternal. *Two hours have passed, I just checked the clock and it is keeping good time.*
