Original era manufacture. M3 style bright finished blade measuring just over 6.5 inches in length. The blade displays an even steel patina, with evidence of cleaned surface corrosion, it has not been sharpened, the point is sharp.Very simple steel guard, with a very sound stacked leather grip, steel pommel, with an exposed tang with pommel loop.Standard WWII era 3rd pattern M8 scabbard, displaying normal age and wear. The blade is without any makers marks.
