Original era manufacture. Blunt tipped, 3.5 inch blade folding knife, sometimes referred to as a Lifeboat, or Rope knife.  Wooden grip panels and  marked on the ricasso, Approved USCG 1944 Q5, and on the opposite side, Camillus Cutlery Co.. The steel blade and pivot point, have an even shallow pitting finish perhaps from long exposure to salt water. The springs remain strong and the knife functions as it should.
