Original era manufacture. A small size knife featuring a black painted cast steel grip with four finger holes. The thin steel blade measures 5.25 inches in length, with an upturned edge and bowie style point. The blade has scattered areas of darkening but no real issues with pitting. Some of what you see is old grease, which I have since removed. Nice quality brown leather sheath with an intact pommel strap. Similar in style to the British BC41 Commando Knife, but without any lettering on the grip, and only two rivets instead of three holding the blade in place.  These are original WWII collector items, made by, or for soldiers fighting in the Pacific and European Theaters during the war; sold as collector items only.The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
