Original era manufacture. Cut-down M1893 Krag bayonet, dated 1902 on the ricasso, and U.S. on the opposite side, the blade now measuring 8.75 inches in length. The scabbard is for a standard 10 inch Garand bayonet, withan elongated light OD canvas belt loop and pommel strap, US Ordnance Bomb proof on the throat.Heavy, rather crudely cast brassgrip with two large finger holes. Normal handling and wear overall.These are original WWII collector items, made by, or for soldiers fighting in the Pacific and European Theaters during the war; sold as collector items only.The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
