Original period manufacture. Front seamed, reflective edge, fixed bale steel helmet with original sewn, light OD canvas chinstraps with brass attachingbuckles. Original paint finish inside and out, with light fraying and wear to the cloth chinstraps, and the soldiers number and name of GLOBE, appearing on inside of the helmet.Plastic linerin original paint, grommet in front, but is unmarked as to maker. Itis complete with itsdark OD canvas suspension, original sweatband and, anon-adjustable nape strap. There is a leather liner chinstrap with a brass adjusting buckle, but I do not believe it to be of US manufacture.
