Original era manufacture. A sound example of the US WWII folding machete, maker marked CASE XX. The blade is free of corrosion pitting, with a steel patina finish and scattered areas of staining. It folds and locks/unlocks as it should, with a removable black painted steel blade cover, a good thing, as the blade is quite sharp. Thick black composition grips in good repair.
