Original period manufacture. Interesting WWII emergency knife intended to be dropped to Philippine patriots to help fight the Japanese. Made from a cut-down M1873 45-70 bayonet with a black rubber hose grip and a simple steel guard with four circularbumps. Very simple in design but it no doubt would get the job done. See Cole's Volume III, Page 163 for reference.
