Original period manufacture. This is without a doubt one of the most unique WWII souvenirs we have ever offered for sale. This blanket, and the US WWII patch blanket listed on our sight today, were assembled by the same person, with each piece of insignia being individually hand sewn to the 1940 dated US Army blanket. The insignia for the most part represents the German Kriegsmarine, with a few Heer items thrown in for good measure. The edges of the blanket are also decorated, this time using Kriegsmarine NCO tresse. Whoever put this wonderful relic together took their time and gave some thought to it creating a artful designs. Pretty sure we will never see another one like it, priced at about $30 per piece of insignia.
