Original era manufacture. US WWII cast hatchet head with a wood handle. Steel patina finish on the head, original OD paint to the handle, with a stamped USH 42.. No nicks in the blade edge, chip on the edge of the handle. Clean, dark OD canvas belt carrier has a clear Canvas Prod. of K.C. makers stencil, with a manufacturing date of 1945.
