Original era manufacture. US Plumb 1942 cast hatchet head with a wood handle. Black protective finish on the head, old OD repaint to the handle. No nicks in the blade edge, chip on the edge of the handle. Dark OD canvas belt carrier has a clear Canvas Prod. of K.C. makers stencil, with a manufacturing date of 1944. The cover is very clean, with a few small abrasions on the reverse of the carrier.
