Original period manufacture. This is a very interesting little set, consisting of a two page, handwritten letter from a US Army officer to his mother in June of 1945. Included with the letter and envelope is a RPC of SA men participating in a parade somewhere in Germany. A handwritten notation on the reverse of the card states "France, taken from a officerSS". In the text of the letter he writes..."Mom here are some pictures I ran across too day. I like the oneof the flag besides the "stinking rats".....Great little set.
