Original era manufacture. M3 pattern knife blade which has had the makers name removed from the guard, even steel patina finish overall. Two piece wood grip secured by two screws, with a decorative aluminum panel on each side. Two piece wooden scabbard which is nailed together. Slipped over the scabbard body, is a very nice leather frog for a British 1907 pattern bayonet, perhaps South African in origin, with a 1950's stenciled date on the reverse.
