Original period manufacture. Similar in pattern to the US Navy MkI utility knife but not Navy marked. Polished steel blade measures 4.75 inches in length, witha simple steel guard. Brown stacked leather grip with a red spacer below the guard, and a wooden MkI style pommel.The blade is clean, displaying normal age and wear, with a stress crack on each side of the pommel, perhaps from over tightening of the tang nut.The pommel is not loose.Simple, riveted and sewn brown leather sheath.
