Original era manufacture. One of our favorite WWII souvenirs, are these commercially produced gold anodized aluminum ashtrays, being a facsimile of the Fireplace at Hitler's home in Berchtesgaden.Set into a small recess on the mantel  are fragments of marble from the original mantel in Hitler's home. At the base of the mantel is a description of the acquisition of the marble fragments.On the reverse is a white ink testament declaring the originality of the fragments, with the names of the individuals involved in their recover. Below that is a very faint copyright stamp dated 1945.We have owned several of these over the years, this one is the first I can remember having the testimonial on the reverse.
