Original period manufacture. Polished steel, 6.5 inch blade with a serrated spine and a bottle opener built into the cutting edge. Simple oval steel guard with a stacked leather grip and a blade tang which extends through the steel oval pommel. The blade shows light wear and use but no damage, sound grip without missing segments or cracks.The russet leather sheath is of riveted and sewn construction, the pommel securing strap is intact. Wear to the top of the scabbard throat, heavy cord tie string at the bottom of the scabbard tip.
