Original era photography.  This is a commercially produced album, of a type produced during the war so that our service men and women could record their experiences. We have owned a number of them in the past, most often found unused, or with a few scattered notations or photos at best. This particular example is head and shoulders above the rest. Photographs, lists of Buddies, pictures of girlfriends, and an account of his experience being under fire for the first time. Really a wonderful time capsule of one GI's experiences during WWII.
