Original era manufacture. Welded steel case measuring 7.5x4x7.5 inches with an OD paint finish, and white stenciled lettering. Someone thought it a good idea to try and remove the stenciling, well the paint came off too, so they gave it up as a bad job. Sound, makes a nice storage can.
