Original era manufacture. High pressure liner which looks to have been produced by International Molded Plastics. Light OD fabric suspension, original sweatband, and a broken, yet near complete original leather chinstrap. Original insignia as shown. Purchased from the daughter of Captain L. Smith several years ago, and has been collecting dust for awhile in our storage area. There is a small crack in the visor and a larger crack on the left side edge. Captain L. Smith, served with the 183rd FA Battalion, which arrived in France in June 1944. The small photo shows Captain Smith in Europe, dated November 1944. The photo is not included in the lot.
