Original era manufacture. This is a great original document which a GI had with him while visiting the famed Hollywood Canteen during WWII. He was fortunate in getting many of the Stars appearing there sign it for him. Amongst the signatures the perhaps noteworthy is Buster Keaton. Terri's mother is quite a movie buff and she provided the short Bios on the remaining signatures.Alexis Smith was a pretty big star in the 40s - 60s. She was a tall, stately, blond who usually played roles like the other woman. She was married to Craig Stevens (Peter Gunn). I think she died about 10 years ago.Robert Cummings was a big star from the 40s through the 70s, and was the star of "Love that Bob" on tv. He played a photographer. He was also in an Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Sabotour", and was Grace Kelley's love interest in Hitchcock's "Dial M For Murder".John Ridgely was an older character actor through the war years, but probably someone you wouldn't have seen in anything.Grace McDonald was more of a B movie actress, but she was pretty, so I imagine she went on many USO tours during WW11.Elaine Shephard was more of a stage actress, but made some movies. Most of them the B type, and I doubt you'd have ever seen her either.Paul Lucas was a pretty big star from the 30s through the 50s. He was suave and debonair, and had a European accent. He played a lot of Nazi's too, but before and after the war played a lot of romantic leads with actresses like Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Overall the condition shows handling and light wrinkles, but no holes or tears.
