Original era manufacture. 50-Mission crush style hat with a pliable visor. The hat can be completely taken apart for packing and transport, no moth issues, just normal age and wear. Large lot of documents and manuals pertaining to the Pilot's time as a student. His Separation Qualification Record credits him as being a rated a Four Engine Pilot, assigned to the 8th Air Force in England and credited with six combat missions against Germany and German held territory. No name was found inside the hat. The manufacture of the hat is Bancroft and the cover is Society Brand.Nice lot, good research.
