Original era manufacture. A nice lot of identified insignia, name plaque and uniform receipt to Chief Pharmacy Mate Charles Allen Jones Junior (3367175). During WWII he served aboard the USS Ludlow (DD-438) in 1942 and 1943, participating in Operations Torch and Husky. There are numerous listings for a C.A. Jones in the Navy muster rolls available on Ancestry.com, however the Jr, or Junior easily pulls him out of the mix. I found listings for him from 1939-1946, should be a fun research project. The reverse of both chevrons has his name and service number.
