US WWII Identified USMC 2nd Marine Division Uniform & Photo Lot

Original era manufacture. An officers quality, private purchase uniform set in forest green gabardine. Set consists of overseas hat, coat with belt and trousers.Original sewn 2nd Marine Division SSI on the left shoulder with ribbons as shown. Several articles are named to a D.A. Pickens, or simply Pickens. His overseas hat, and trouser waistband.The coat is about a size 38, the waistband measures 28 inches, inseam 30 inches, and the hat is about a size 6 1/4.The set is clean, with all original insignia in place. There is a nicely done repair in one knee, and some wear to the arm lining. No mothing that I could see.Also included is a nice formal photograph of smiling Marine, and another snapshot of him wearing the uniform with SSI and ribbons, while holding a baby.
