US WWII Navy Identity Tag set (3 tags) named to one George William Foreman, who served aboard the USS Menard (APA-201) during WWII.The USS Menard was a Haskall class attach transport, commissioned into the US Navy 31 October 1944. She was credited with the downing of a Japanese Kamikaze off of Okinawa in 1945.She earned 1 Battle Star for WWII and 3 for the Korean War, sold to the Gillette Razor Corporation in 1975.
