Original era manufacture. A pair of Next-of-Kin pattern GI dogtags issued to Ozias W. Baker of Clanton Illinois during WWII. During WWII Corporal Baker served with the AAF 1505th Base Unit, and was credited with serving in the Western Solomons, and Iwo Jima (Ground Combat), earning the Asiatic-Pacific Theater ribbon with two stars, Army Good Conduct medal and Victory medal.Included with the dogtags, is an official copy with raised seal, of his WWII discharge certificate, giving details of his service, to include the mentioning of Iwo Jima-Ground Combat.Excellent research potential.
