Original era manufacture. 6 period photographs of the arrival and landing of the silver colored Betty bomber marked with green crosses on the island of Ie Shima 19 August 1945. Each of the photos displays a period handwritten notation on its reverse. These photos have been duplicated many times in the past, no doubt this set was made for a GI on the scene for his scrapbook. Light age and wear.
