Original period manufacture. A very nice early production Kabar pattern knife produced by Camillus with the makers name and U.S.M.C. stamped into the ricassos of the blade. Most of the original finish remains on the blade surface with light wear only to the highpoints on the blade suface. The point has a slight bevel to it on the top side. Very sound stacked leather grip with no cracks, chips or missing segments. Pinned pommel displaying a rectangular blade tang. Very sound russet leather sheath of sewn and riveted construction. No issues beyond normal age and wear. Classic USMC knife of WWII.
