Original era manufacture. Standard Ka-Bar pattern knife which is USMC and Camillus NY marked on the guard. Blue and steel patina mix finished blade with light surface spotting and corrosion which displays well. Sound stacked leather grip with an interesting period modification, being a 4 mm hole drilled though the base of the grip, perhaps the mounting point for a leather wrist lanyard.Thin, pommel disc which is pinned in place. Very clean russet leather sheath of stapled and sewn construction. Staining from service use on the reverse of the belt loop.
