Original era manufacture. Standard Ka-Bar pattern knife which is USMC and Camillus NY marked on the guard. Parkerized finish on the blade, which shows evidence of cleaning, the point is slightly rounded.Very nice stacked leather grip, with a pinned pommel cap and a rectangular tang. The top of the blade displays minor denting from hammering, after all, this was a multi-purpose tool wasn't it?Sound leather sheath of riveted and sewn construction, with inkstamps of a service number done in several places. Intact pommel strap, which is a little weak near the female side, so we have not tried to close it over the grip.
