Original era manufacture. Blue steel Kabar style blade maker marked U.S.CAMILLUS N.Y. on the ricasso. Mix of blue and steel patina on the blade surface, with evidence of old cleaned corrosion pitting. Stacked leather grip which has been dyed black, typical scuffing to its surface but no missing sections or chips. Riveted and sewn black leather scabbard which is basically sound but a bit weak around the snap on the grip closure strap. The very tip of which is missing.
