Original period manufacture. Nine inch overall length with a bright finished blade, stacked leather grip with red & black spaces and a steel topped wooden butt. Marked Ka-Bar Olean NY on the reverse ricasso. Unfullered blade with a two inch false edge on the upper portion of the blade. The blade has been lightly sharpened and the point is slightly rounded from use. Sound brown leather sheath showing typical age and wear. A similar knife can be seen on page 84 of Cole's but with a fullered blade.
