Original era manufacture. Decal on cardboard, with a hand knitted edge and loop for hanging. The emblem measures 4.25 inches across, with normal wear and some missing portions of the lettering.Laredo Army Air Field was established in July 1942 mainly as a training base for aerial gunnery; it closed in 1945, was re-opened as a training base in the Cold War, closed again, and now serves as Laredo International Airport.
