Original period manufacture. All leather construction, multi-piece patch with the Calcutta maker, or retailers name on the reveres, Samsuddin, Military Badges Supplyer, 16 Chowringhee Calcutta. The construction of the 1,072 mile long Ledo road took nearly two years to complete, being cut through jungle and malarial swamps. It's intended purpose was to establish an overland supply route to China.
