Original era manufacture. A solid example of the classic GI helmet of WWII. Fixed bale, front seamed, reflective edge helmet with original sewn light OD chinstraps with brass fittings. Period looking net placed on the exterior of the helmet, nice patina finish to the exterior (might be an old repaint) original finish on the interior. CAPAC marked high pressure lining with complete light OD webbing interior, to include a non-adjustable nape strap. Sound brown leather liner chinstrap with a green adjusting buckle. Stenciled onto the front section of the leather sweatband is the name, NORMAN F. KELLY 1ST LT.
