Original period manufacture. Front seamed, reflective edge, fixed bale steel helmet with original sewn, light OD canvas chinstraps with steel attachingbuckles, numbered under the visor 653BStenciled to the front of the helmet in black paint is R-5247, and hand painted on the reverse the letters U.S.A.. Original helmet finish, overall normal age and wear.High pressure liner by Firestone, light OD webbing with non-adjustable nape strap, all in sound condition. No sweatband or leather chinstrap.
