Original era manufacture. Standard WWII fixed bale, front seamed, reflective edge helmet, 66A lot number, with original sewn light OD chinstraps with brass fittings.The exterior of the helmet displays a dark blue painted finish, with a white painted disc at front with painted red cross; below are the initials V.K.C.Original WWII high pressure liner made by Inland, smooth dark OD finish with a small Red Cross emblem and matching initials V.K.C. at front. The liner is complete with its light OD canvas webbing, sweatband and non-adjustable nape strap. Amazingly the original leather chinstrap is intact.
