Original era manufacture. Standard pattern M1 Garand Bayonet in very fine condition. Originally manufactured with a 16 inch blade by Utica Cutlery in 1942, then cut-down to a 10 inch length.The metal fittings retain nearly all of their parkerized finish, the point remains quite sharp and the markings are clear. There are some light bumps or dents on the spine, but no evidence of corrosion pitting.Very nice black plastic grips with minimal marring from handling and use. Original finish OD plastic bodied scabbard, with a bursting bomb and US on the steel scabbard throat.
