Original era manufacture. Original 16 inch blade length bayonet, made by U.C. in 1942. This was later modified by having the blade cut down to a 10 inch length, which has a stamp on the reverse of the blade stating, U.C.- MOD.The blade is very clean, with an even steel patina finish with a bit of the original parkerized finish remaining. Very clean guard and pommel, lock button works properly, and a very sound pair of black plastic grips.Original finish OD plastic scabbard, with a steel throat marked with an ordnance bomb and the letters U.S.
