Original era manufacture. Standard pattern M1 Garand Bayonet in very clean condition. Originally manufactured with a 16 inch blade by Utica Cutlery in 1943, then cut-down to a 10 inch length.The metal fittings retain nearly all of their parkerized finish, the point remains quite sharp and the markings are clear; with evidence of corrosion pitting.Very nice black plastic grips with minimal marring from handling and use. Original finish OD plastic bodied scabbard, with a bursting bomb and US on the steel scabbard throat.
