Original era manufacture. Manufactured 10 inch blade with little of the original finish remaining. Dark steel patina to the guard and pommel, sound black plastic grips. The blade is sound with evidence of an old sharpening but no corrosion pitting. Standard GI plastic scabbard with an old overpaint to the body, dark steel patina to the throat. One of the souvenirs of Pvt J.F.Vojtech USMC, who participated in a number of assault operations while assigned to the USMC 5th Corps. Purchased from the family.
