Original era manufacture. Manufactured 10 inch blade with a steel patina finish, no surface rust or corrosion.The blade has not been foolishly sharpened, no horrible grind marks or nicks in the edge. Sound black plastic grips withminimal, light marring to the ridges.Mix of steel patina and parkerized finish on the guard and pommel, lock mechanism works fine.Originalfinish, OD plastic scabbard, with a steelpatina to the throat and belt hook, normal service wear and use with no issues. A very clean example of the classic WWII Garand bayonet.
