Original era manufacture. Swivel bale, front seamed, reflective edge steel pot, with original sewn light OD canvas straps, and brass connecting fittings.Nice old service used finish to the exterior, with a crudely painte 1st Looie bar on the front, and as our Pal Jim calls it, a "Shoot Me First" stripe on the back of the pot.On the interior of the helmet is a crudely painted "George" in white, and an additional name "Viero" in black paint.Firestone 54 marked plastic liner with light OD webbing. An original sweatband and adjustable nape strap are in place; the leather liner chinstrap is missing. No markings on the exterior of the helmet.
