Original period manufacture.Late WWII helmet shell with a front seamed, non-reflective edge with original sewn dark OD chinstraps with black painted steel buckles. The shellretains its original factory paint, and on the front is a handdrawn USMC Lance Corporal rank chevron with the name STEVE below. WWII plastic liner made by Westinghouse with light OD suspension and an early, non-adjustable nape strap. It is complete with a Korean War leather linerchinstrapwith a black finished steel adjusting buckle.
