Original era manufacture. Rear seamed, swivel bale, non-reflective edge steel helmet with original sewn dark OD chinstraps and darkened alloy fittings. Period small square net showing scattered repairs. Original WWII high pressure liner by Westinghouse, with light OD webbing, to include a non-adjustable nape strap. Replacement sweatband, with a black buckle leather chinstrap. Four holes in the back side of the helmet which look to have been made with a 22 caliber weapon. Good candidate for display or living history use.
